Teaser Alert – 3D Hologram Printer Prototype Peek

Our new 3D Hologram Printer is coming very soon, and I wanted to share this sneak peek at one of our prototypes along the way!

We have been working around the clock, and we were closing down late one night a little while ago when I took this picture.

I couldn’t help sharing it! It’s not the final materials or colors, but you can see how it’s starting to take shape at this point.

We are planning the Kickstarter launch for next month, so stay tuned for more pictures and details. We are making hologram technology accessible at a whole new level, and we can’t wait to get a 3D Hologram Printer into your hands!

Make sure you are signed up for our 3D Hologram Printer launch list for the latest updates: www.litiholo.com/3d-hologram-printer.html

And for more on our 3D Hologram Printer, take a look at our New Directions post, see our Buzz Lightyear test hologram teaser post, and see the early design sketches post.

  1. Great news!

Any ETA on shipment process and estimated timeframe i.e. Early beta testers for feedback and then batch 1, 2, 3 or you will go all in one batch, etc.

  2. Very excited to see some more test holograms! This is an amazingly exciting project. Credit to you guys for pushing the technology

  3. I have been eagerly waiting for this update! I am looking forward the Kickstarter campaign and to learn more about the printer. Amazing how far your team has come with holographic technology.

  4. Does that work like that Canadian company that was producing holograms column-by-column? I wrote some test code at that time to see if I can format art in the correct format, but I never got around to test it.
Are you going to release specs for the input format so people can create some test files?

  5. Will it be possible to preview the software interfaces and supported file formats? Any chance the software will be opensource? I’ve considerable experience in hogel rendering software, and hope to be able to contribute. Thanks — mew
